Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Imperatrice 01 unfolds as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Isabelle T comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

Right at the start you catch sweet-fresh fruity opening notes: Pomegranate and Yuzu. Exactly these 2 notes set playful berry energy that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you notice Lotus, Magnolia and Peony holding a harmonious floral direction.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fruit, Citrus, Floral and Ambery. The framework further includes Wood, Musk and Whiteflower.

Overall Imperatrice 01 sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I can't say the attempt to recreate Bright Crystal was successful. It turned out something too powdery and even a little cold, with a familiar but too subtle scent. Although the original isn't without chemistry either, this version seems even more artificial 🤔
