Gingerlise J.U.S. Parfums, created in 2018, sits firmly in the category of a unisex fragrance, rooted in the spicy and aromatic families. Alexandra Carlin — the creative mind behind this fragrance. By character, it falls into the spicy and aromatic groups. Gingerlise — proudly part of the Collection Sensory Jewels collection. An eau de parfum — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.
It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. Brand country — France: a place that truly knows its way around a great scent. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.
The fragrance is very long-lasting, staying on the skin for 12 hours or more, gradually revealing its notes
It can be felt in close proximity, but does not attract the attention of those around you
The perfume has a fresh scent that is not too intense, so it does not overwhelm those around you with strong essences
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Fragrances for spring and summer unfold with light citrus notes, floral and fruity accords, filling the composition with freshness, airiness, and a feeling of carefree lightness on warm days
The scent of Gingerlise is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of J.U.S. Parfums is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.
At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Aromatic, Spicy, Green and Wood. The palette also extends to Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Musk.
When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a architectural woody mood: Angelica, Cabreuva, Citrus accord, Fig, Ginger, Hedione and Lemon.
The middle and base stages are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.
The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.
Taken together Gingerlise reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory.

I just got the feeling that it's more suitable for winter than for summer. lemon and ginger evoke associations with hot tea that warms you on cold days.
but overall, it's a cheerful and sunny fragrance that can be a great companion any time of year. the rough texture in the base really reminds me of candied ginger, which adds an interesting touch. luckily, there isn't as much chemical harshness as in other fragrances from this collection, which makes it more pleasant to wear
