The Story and Character of Jacomo Silences Purple

The Jacomo perfume house, born in 1970 from the unusual partnership of an American businessman and a French pianist, continues to surprise.

In 2004, it introduced Silences Purple, a women's fragrance launched as an eau de parfum.

This oriental-sweet composition (from the Oriental and Sweet fragrance families) was created for women who appreciate softness and mystery.

Who Is Silences Purple For, and How to Wear It

Positioned as a women's fragrance with a soft trail, it is an ideal choice for intimate occasions or the office, where you do not want to overwhelm the space.

It gently lingers, leaving a light yet memorable trace.

If you enjoy similar compositions, consider Dior Addict, Lalique Satine, and Oscar de la Renta Bella Rosa — they share a similar mood.

Why You Should Try Silences Purple

This is a mood fragrance: floral freshness intertwines with warm woody-balsamic accents. Silences Purple does not shout for attention; it whispers, inviting you into a world of refined luxury.

It is equally suited to a cool evening and a romantic morning — a versatile companion for a confident woman.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Frangipani here is really bitter and sweet. The scent is very rich and loud, more for going out, although I usually wear even the heaviest oriental perfumes in everyday life. But this fragrance is better left for open spaces, as not everyone might like it 😅

The scent is floral, sweet, like an evening breeze. I've tried many similar ones, but this one really stands out. The bottle feels nice to hold, a cozy feeling. Haven't seen this brand in stores for a long time
