Description of the composition

The scent of Leonella is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Jacques Zolty is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Fruit, Wood, Whiteflower and Green. The palette also extends to Ambery, Floral and Sweet. From a family perspective the scent maps to Floral, Fruit and Sweet.

Right at the start you sense sweet-fresh fruity top notes: Fruit note, Gorse and Jasmine.

In the central layer you meet Gardenia, Sugar cane and ylang-ylang holding a sensual jasmine direction. In the final layer the line is anchored through Ambergris and Patchouli, reinforcing a viscous resinous trail.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Floral, Fruit, Wood and Amber without random overlap. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Taken together Leonella holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance looks appealing, but I didn't dare to try it on myself, it sounds too sweet and strange for me 😅 However, it's really interesting and unusual, maybe it's more suitable for those who don't like simple and light perfumes 🌟

This fragrance, although rich, evokes a sense of heaviness. The sweetness is distinctly feminine, but not in a joyful way. The fruits, which should be prominent, appear dull and unexpressive, as if forgotten on a shelf. No brightness, no festivity - just gloomy notes that weigh on the mind. I can't say it's pleasant 😒
