Description of the composition

The composition of Winterosa evolves as a layered story, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of James&Co is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a juicy exotic mood: Fig, Gardenia, Grey Ambergris, Mint, Rose, Verbena and Woody Accord. In this format 7 notes act as one coherent layer, building thrilling fruity juiciness that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The inner phases are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Wood and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fruit, Whiteflower, Animals and Aromatic. It also reaches into Floral, Citrus and Wood.

Overall Winterosa holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.
