Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Musk Oil unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Jovan comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Peach and Star anise.

When the opening settles you notice Cocoa, Lavender and ylang-ylang holding a velvety vanilla-coffee direction. In what remains on skin the composition is fixed through Patchouli, Vanilla, Vetiver and musk, extending a earthy woody-resinous trail.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Spicy and Gourmet. The framework further includes Green, Whiteflower, Wood and Musk.

Taken together Musk Oil sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.
