Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Remember Me is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Jovoy Paris comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

Right at the start you meet sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Cardamom and Lemon. These 3 notes set sunny vitality that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the middle phase you detect Frangipani, Ginger and Tea holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Floral, Gourmet, Green and Spicy. The framework further includes Citrus, Wood, Drinks and Fairy. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Gourmet.

Taken together Remember Me sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. I ordered the fragrance from the Jovoy website and wasn't disappointed. Imagine: a cup of tea with milk, cardamom, and sugar, and next to it a sprig of frangipani. Ginger is noticeable for about 2-3 hours. After 6-7 hours, Remember Me becomes less spicy, and you can already smell milk and tea. In an interview, François Hénin shared how he worked in Central Asia with Cécile Zarokian. They were looking for inspiration for a new fragrance, trying different spices and incense. In a cafe, François ordered strong black tea with cardamom, milk, and sugar, and at that moment, Cécile caught the scent of frangipani, which reminded her of Haiti. She said: "François, I will one day reveal all the secrets of this flower," and he replied: "Why not add the aroma of this drink?" That's how Remember Me came to be. It's great that they didn't choose oud or bakhoor, but found something new and oriental 🌸

The fragrance is really user-friendly, combining milky notes with spices and tea. The ingredients are very harmoniously chosen, you can tell everything has been carefully thought out. Autumn is when it truly shines!!

A milky potion. This fragrance combines vanilla, milk, tea, cardamom, ginger, and woody notes. Cardamom and ginger create an amazing combination here. Warmth and freshness, aroma and lightness - all in one bottle. The result is something like a rice pudding: delicate, creamy, but without excessive sweetness

I was thinking, what note is slipping through here? Something familiar, but I just couldn't recall it. And then it hit me: milk tea! I like tea scents, but I haven't come across many successful fragrant compositions with it. This one, unfortunately, wasn't an exception. Yes, it's tea-like, sweetish, but for me, it's too cloying and not refined. It's like it's on one end of the spectrum, and on the other, it's not gourmand-delicious enough to want to experience it again. The fragrance, of course, is complex and rich - you can't deny that. So, even though I give it a three on my personal scale, that's purely subjective. The fragrance, without a doubt, deserves high ratings. Long-lasting, noticeable, with sillage - others will definitely like it
