Fragrance information:

Juvena is a Swiss legend of youth. The brand name, derived from the Latin word “juvenalis” (youth), has been the guiding star of this Swiss beauty house since 1916.

In 2015, it introduced Eau de Juvena, a women’s eau de toilette with a very strong sillage. This fragrance belongs to the floral and oriental families.

Eau de Juvena is a soft, silky yet vibrant oriental-floral accord. It feels as though it transports you to the Mediterranean coast, where sunlight mingles with the sea breeze.

The fragrance is housed in a bright red conical bottle, already hinting at its passionate, life-affirming character.

An ideal choice for evening events and romantic dates—its powerful trail will leave a lasting impression.

Character and longevity

Thanks to its eau de toilette concentration, Eau de Juvena offers excellent longevity and projection.

This is a fragrance that does not go unnoticed: its oriental-floral composition is bold and confident, yet remains incredibly feminine and enveloping.

If you are looking for a perfume that can create an aura of mystery and luxury, you have found it.

Similar fragrances

Fans of Eau de Juvena are sure to enjoy compositions such as Lancôme Poeme, a classic floral-oriental ode to sensuality; Naomi Campbell, with its warm woody-gourmand nuances; and Jacques Fath Fath de Fath, a vibrant fruity-floral bouquet.

Each of them explores the theme of femininity and passion in its own way.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The perfume didn't work out for me, even though it looks attractive. My system just doesn't take to it. It has a floral bitterness, and the tuberose gives off a medicinal aftertaste. The sweet, slightly resinous base only partially hides this tuberose 😕
