Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Bukhara is shaped as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Edgardio Chilini comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract keeps the right density and pace of development.

The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Right at the start you meet juicy fruity top notes: Bergamot, Blackcurrant, Elemi and Mandarin.

At the core of development you detect Cyclamen, Galbanum, Heliotrope, Honey, Hyacinth and Iris carrying a harmonious floral direction. At the foundation the structure settles through Ambergris, Civet, Oak moss, Patchouli, Sandalwood and Tonka bean, shaping a warm vetiver trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Balsamic and Floral. The palette also extends to Spicy, Aromatic, Green and Sweet. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Floral, Fruit and Wood.

Overall Bukhara sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The scent simply blew me away. If I tested it blind, I would be 100% sure it's vintage. Even the liquid color is so dark and saturated. I can't pinpoint specific notes, but for me, it's clearly from another era. And it's super long-lasting!
