Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Black unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Kanon is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Green, Citrus, Fruit and Wood. The palette also extends to Spicy. At family level the fragrance belongs to Fern and Wood.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect crisp leafy first notes: Green Chord, Mandarin and Pineapple.

In the middle phase you notice Galbanum and Lavender carrying a pure leafy direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Cedar, Patchouli and Tonka bean, extending a deep woody trail.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Wood add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Black holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.
