Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Éclipse de Lune unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Kansai Yamamoto is clear from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Powdery, Spicy and Mineral enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Right at the start you sense invigorating sunny first notes: Bergamot, Black Pepper, Blackcurrant and Lemon.

In the middle phase you notice Ginger, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Rose and ylang-ylang keeping a silky white floral direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Spicy, Fruit and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Floral, Balsamic, Wood and Gourmet.
