Fragrance information:

Kar.ribe No. 01 is a bold and sincere declaration of love for life, launched in 2011 by the young Russian brand Kar.ribe.

Created with the support of the legendary manufacturer Nikkos-Oskol Fragrance, this scent has become a symbol of passion and femininity, available to both women and men—after all, it is a unisex composition.

A whole team of renowned perfumers worked on its creation: Alain Allion, Alice Lavenat, Benoît Vittet, and Sophia Koronaiou.

The result is an exquisite eau de toilette that proved to be a genuine revelation.

An olfactory symphony

The fragrance belongs to the floral, fruity, and musky families. Its pyramid opens with sparkling notes of black currant, sunlit calendula, and tart lemon.

At the heart, velvety rose and sensual jasmine bloom, intertwined with powdery orris root.

The base envelops the skin in a warm cloud of white musk and delicate vanilla, leaving an enticing moderate trail. The composition lingers on the skin for several hours, gradually revealing all its facets.

Recognition and awards

The success of Kar.ribe No. 01 was not limited to the love of its customers.

At the prestigious InterCHARM 2014 exhibition, Kar.ribe eau de toilette received a diploma for “Professionalism and Creativity” in the “Perfumery” category from the Russian Perfumery and Cosmetics Association.

This confirms that the fragrance has become a benchmark for the entire industry. It is also alcohol-free, making it especially comfortable for sensitive skin.

How to wear it and what to pair it with

Thanks to its unisex nature, Kar.ribe No. 01 is suitable for any occasion—from a romantic date to a business meeting.

Its moderate trail is never overwhelming, yet it leaves a pleasant impression. As it is an alcohol-free formula, the fragrance can be applied directly to the skin without fear of irritation.

If you are looking for similar scents, consider M. Micallef Ananda, Neotantric I Am A Sex Goddess, and Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Midnight—they share a similar floral-musky character.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

I finally felt that the fragrance truly captivates me. I’ve watched my clients fall in love with their perfumes and wondered what they feel. There were perfumes I liked, but I’ve never experienced anything like this. With it, I want to go to sleep and wake up, let my hair down and twirl in a light dress during the day, and by evening, dance to the sound of tango. At first, it seems so soft and caring, like a tender suitor, and then suddenly becomes passionate and intoxicating, like a glass of good wine. I don't know where this will lead, but now I understand what it means to fall in love with a fragrance

What the hell, what is this crap? Blackcurrant and this calendula scent, rubbed between the fingers - seriously? Everything looks a bit too forced and unnatural. Maybe if I had a bottle, I would have appreciated it, but right now - total disappointment. Nothing special, just another piece of perfume crap
