Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Signature evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Kenneth Cole is clear in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Spicy, Citrus, Floral and Ambery. The palette also extends to Wood and Green. At family level the fragrance belongs to Wood.

Right at the start you sense piquant warm first notes: Cardamom, Grapefruit, Hot pepper and Orange.

In the middle phase you meet Iris and Water Lily keeping a velvety rose-iris direction. In the final layer the line is anchored through Ambergris, Guaiac wood, Papyrus, Patchouli and Spices, shaping a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms Middle indicates a stable lasting impression. In diffusion Middle describes the way the scent radiates.

In summary Signature holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is just awful! The freshness they talk about isn't actually felt. There's no melon here, and that's disappointing. Green notes, yes, there are too many, but they don't please, rather they press on the nose. Papyrus, it seems, just weighs everything down, and guaiac adds some incomprehensible heaviness. Citrus? They don't refresh, they just irritate. Violet and water lily? I don't know where they are, but they're definitely missing. Red pepper and spices only add bitterness that doesn't go away. Longevity, of course, is there, but it doesn't save the situation. The scent smells cheap, and others don't like it either. For spring and summer? No way!! One of the worst in the Kenneth Cole line. For the collection? No, thanks
