Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Mountain Pepper is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Korres is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette keeps the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In the top tier you sense radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Bergamot and Orange.

In the middle phase you detect Black Pepper, Rosemary and Sage keeping a lavender-sage direction.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Citrus, Spicy, Aromatic and Ambery. It also reaches into Earthy / Mossy and Musk. From a family perspective the scent maps to Aromatic and Spicy.

This fragrance attracted me back in 2013, when it was in its old design - a dark brown bottle and packaging resembling a book. Now, I've finally found it, but in the new 2020 version. The pyramid is listed on the bottle, but it's not complete: lavender is still there, but I don't smell coriander. The versatility of the fragrance is pleasing, it suits any season. It has the freshness of bergamot and lavender, as well as the warmth of amber and spicy rosemary with pepper. The notes are high quality, as always with this brand, and sound very harmonious. I apply it and imagine myself on the Mediterranean coast in Greece 😔 It's unisex, medium longevity, short sillage, but you can smell it when moving. For those who love natural fragrances

The scent is really interesting, with a combination of spices and citrus notes. It's suitable for both men and women, and can be worn any time of year. However, the longevity leaves much to be desired - the fragrance isn't too bright and stays close to the skin, with almost no sillage
