Description of the composition

The scent of Wood is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Koton is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a airy lemon mood: Amber, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Grapefruit, Lemon, Patchouli and Rose. In this case 7 notes act as one coherent layer, forming sunny vitality that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Spicy without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Balsamic, Citrus, Spicy and Wood. It also reaches into Floral and Gourmet.

Overall Wood sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is simply amazing! 😍 Unfortunately, it ran out, and now it's unclear where to find it. It's no longer available in Minsk, and it seems stores don't offer it either. I really hope I can buy it again! 🌟

The fragrance starts great, but unfortunately, it doesn't develop further. It's sweet and tart, with spicy and sharp notes. A woody base, and everything else seems to hang on it. In the first accords, peppery-lemon nuances are clearly felt 🌟
