Description of the composition

The composition of Ossuary is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of La Curie is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a warm incense mood: Frankincense, Iris, Palo Santo, Spices, Tolu balsam and Violet. Here 6 notes sound as one integrated frame, creating enveloping resinous depth that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Wood and Powdery forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic, Floral, Wood and Spicy. It also reaches into Gourmet and Whiteflower.

In summary Ossuary sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.
