Description of the composition

The composition of Baiser de Florence is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Ella K Parfums is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Powdery and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a resinous voluminous mood: Cedar, Frankincense, Heliotrope, Iris, Jasmine, Myrrh and Vanilla.

The heart and base are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Wood, Balsamic, Floral and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Gourmet and Musk.

Iris is the main synonym for Florence in the olfactory dictionary. The city received this symbol thanks to the iris fields that surrounded it, or perhaps due to the purity associated with the Guelph and Ghibelline coat of arms. In perfumery, the melancholic, damp, and silvery-grey scent of iris roots is often used as an important motif. Sonia Constant followed this same path in her Baiser de Florence fragrance. This "Florentine kiss" smells of lipstick, a little hay, and iris wax. It unfolds quickly and easily, leaving a trace on the skin similar to a real kiss - somewhere near the Basilica of Santa Croce or in the backstreets of the central market
