Bora Bora by Lise Watier

Imagine a tropical paradise captured in a bottle. That is exactly what Bora Bora by the Canadian brand Lise Watier, launched in 2011, is like.

This is an eau de toilette created for women who are not afraid to be bold and desirable.

The composition belongs to the floral and fruity fragrance families—an ideal cocktail for sunny days.

Character and sillage

Bora Bora is a true firework display of emotions. It feels bold and playful, leaving behind a very strong trail that is impossible to miss.

This fragrance is made for beach parties, romantic dates beneath the palms, or simply for lifting your spirits on a gray day.

It unfolds beautifully in warm weather, evoking a sense of carefree freedom.

The fragrance pyramid and composition

From the very first seconds, you are greeted by an explosive cocktail of juicy bergamot, sweet mandarin, and green kiwi, enhanced by piquant blackcurrant leaf.

At its heart, the fragrance becomes more sensual: delicate jasmine and velvety rose intertwine with tropical passionflower and honeyed apricot.

The base is a warm embrace: amber, vanilla, woody notes, and musk create a long-lasting, seductive trail.

What to compare it with

If you have fallen for Bora Bora, be sure to try Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Soirée—it is just as sweet and daring.

For lovers of floral notes with a fruity accent, we recommend Monotheme Fine Fragrances Venezia Giglio delle Hawaii, while for a more refined scent, try Teo Cabanel Hegoa.

Each of these fragrances explores the theme of holidays and joy in its own way.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance is a real tropical explosion! The kiwi here is just gorgeous, its sweet and sour scent fills the air with freshness. The other notes are kind of in the background, almost imperceptible. And the bottle color - it's just the perfect solution! ))

The fragrance has a tart nuance with vanilla notes, reminds me of Southern Wind from the same brand, but that one's sweeter and has a distinct apricot. Here, you really feel a clear tartness and the scent of kiwi 🍃
