Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Lumination evolves as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Louis Cardin is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch invigorating sunny top note: Bergamot. This single 1 note forms a burst of citrus freshness that is impossible to miss.

In the middle phase you sense Aquatic accord and Patchouli keeping a smoky-mineral direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Aquatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Mineral, Wood and Ambery. The palette also extends to Earthy / Mossy and Musk. From a family perspective the scent maps to Fern.

Overall Lumination sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.
