Description of the composition

The scent of Triesta evolves as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Lucien George comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Powdery, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense vibrant berry opening notes: Apricot, Bergamot, Lilac and Lily of the Valley.

At the core of development you meet Heliotrope, Iris, Jasmine and Rose holding a velvety rose-iris direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Ambergris, Apricot, Sandalwood, Vanilla and musk, shaping a viscous resinous trail.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Fruit, Citrus, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Ambery, Wood, Gourmet and Musk.

Taken together Triesta holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.
