Description of the composition

The composition of Balalaika is built as a living composition, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Lucien Lelong is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de Cologne sets the depth and body this composition needs.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense sparkling citrus opening note: Mandarin.

When the opening settles you notice Gardenia, Rosewood and Violet carrying a silky white floral direction. At drydown level the structure settles through Vanilla, Woody Accord and musk, extending a deep cocoa-vanilla trail.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Whiteflower, Wood and Floral. It also reaches into Gourmet and Musk.

Overall Balalaika holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail.
