Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Criterion unfolds as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Lundborg is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Musc and Amber with each one in a clear role. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a resinous-sweet mood: Ambergris and musk. In this case 2 notes sound as one integrated frame, creating golden warm radiance that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.
