Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Ahasees evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Otoori is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Ambery, Fruit, Musk and Gourmet. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to East.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a voluminous amber mood: Ambergris, Fruit note and musk. In this format 3 notes act as one voice, building soft resinous sensuality that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The heart and base are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The olfactory framework is driven by these accords: Fruit, Musc and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Ahasees sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Got this perfume as a gift from an acquaintance who suddenly got into Arabic perfumery. The scent is indeed intriguing, captivating, but there's something strange about it. The musk seems too rough, even a bit unpleasant. Bright fruits, as if under the sun, don't save the situation. First you relax, and then the musk keeps pushing its way into your nose 😅
