Fragrance information:

M. Asam is a German brand founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Miriam and Marcus Asam, who poured all their passion for beauty and innovation into it.

Their philosophy is to create products that inspire confidence. This is precisely what Inspiration, launched in 2012, embodies.

About the fragrance

Inspiration is a men's Eau de Parfum belonging to the fougère and woody fragrance families. Its exceptionally strong sillage ensures it lasts throughout the day.

Its name translates as “Inspiration,” and the fragrance fully lives up to it, imparting a feeling of freshness and confidence.

It is especially well suited to hot weather: the citrus notes in the opening create a cooling effect, while the woody base provides lasting comfort.

How the fragrance unfolds

The composition opens with the sparkling citrus freshness of bergamot and sun-drenched mandarin.

At its heart, delicate lavender intertwines with coniferous, spicy juniper (cade), creating a refined contrast.

The base features spicy-woody rosewood, velvety musk, and charismatic ambergris—a classic finish that adds depth and elegance.

These compositions are also distinguished by their longevity and vibrant character, although each unfolds in its own way.

About the brand

M. Asam is, above all, a family success story. Founders Miriam and Marcus Asam have proven that passion and innovation can create a brand valued for its quality and originality.

Inspiration is a striking example of their approach: simplicity of form combined with depth of character. Learn more about the brand on the official website: http://shop.alharamainperfumes.com.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Juniper is front and center here, and that, of course, is pleasing. Lavender and mandarin peels are also noticeable, but the longevity leaves much to be desired. Overall, the scent isn't bad, but something in it fades away, as if slipping away forever 😔
