Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Umbra unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Maa Althahab is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Whiteflower, Spicy, Ambery and Wood. It also reaches into Floral. At family level the fragrance belongs to Amber, Floral and Wood.

In the top tier you meet delicate white floral first notes: Jasmine and Saffron. These 2 notes build floral tenderness that anchors the first impression immediately.

When the opening settles you sense Ambergris carrying a sweet-resinous direction. At drydown level the composition is fixed through Cedar, reinforcing a earthy woody-resinous trail.

The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together Umbra reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.
