Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Chambray is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Madewell is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a multi-layered petal mood: Ambergris, Freesia, Iris, Lily of the Valley, Peony and Water Lily. In this case 6 notes work as one voice, forming romantic softness that reads as cohesive from the start.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Floral, Powdery and Amber without random overlap.
