Maori Collection launched Aqua in 2020 — and it was a brilliant move. A feminine fragrance rooted in the wood, floral, citrus, and aromatic families. Inspiration and execution — all of it is Paolo Terenzi. By character, it falls into the wood, earthy / mossy, and citrus groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of aromatic can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. An eau de parfum — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Aqua evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Maori Collection comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Powdery, Amber and Alcoholic expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Lime, Mandarin and Red Wine.

When the opening settles you detect Ambergris, Basil, Iris, Lilac and Thyme keeping a lavender-sage direction.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Aromatic, Citrus, Earthy / Mossy and Wood. It also reaches into Drinks, Ambery, Floral and Whiteflower.

Taken together Aqua sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced through real development.
