Identity and Release History

Introducing Maori Collection Wellness Skill, a fragrance often referred to as "Wellness Skill" in Russia.

This scent was released in 2017 as part of the niche line Maori Collection, a brand born in Italy inspired by Polynesian legends.

From the outset, Maori Collection positioned itself as an exclusive perfumery dedicated to well-being and spiritual balance, making Wellness Skill not just a fragrance but an entire experience for the soul and body.

This release marks a significant milestone in the brand's development, strengthening its reputation as a creator of unique, inspiring compositions.

Positioning and Wearability

Wellness Skill is classified as a unisex fragrance, making it an ideal choice for anyone who values freedom of self-expression.

Thanks to its perfume water concentration, it has a rich but not overwhelming character.

Its middle trail leaves behind a delicate, enticing trace, perfect for daily wear, special moments, or meditative practices.

The fragrance unfolds beautifully in cool seasons like autumn and winter due to warm oriental notes, but its citrus accents add freshness, making it versatile for various scenarios.

It is recommended to apply it to pulse points like wrists and neck for optimal development, and on clothing, it can last longer, accentuating your style.

Creators and Impact on the Brand

Behind the creation of this amazing fragrance is the talented perfumer Paolo Terenzi, known for his complex and emotional compositions.

His work on Wellness Skill reflects a deep understanding of oriental and gourmet traditions, harmoniously fitting into the DNA of Maori Collection.

This release not only strengthened the brand's position in the niche perfumery market but also attracted the attention of connoisseurs seeking fragrances with soul and history.

The influence of Wellness Skill can be seen in subsequent Maori collections, where the theme of well-being and natural inspiration continues.

Composition Overview

The composition of Wellness Skill is built on a blend of notes that create a unique harmonious bouquet. It is based on patchouli and red orange, complemented by a tonka bean accord.

This combination gives the fragrance depth and multifaceted character, evoking oriental and gourmet families.

Such structure makes Wellness Skill recognizable and complimentary, ideal for those who enjoy experimenting with perfumery.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

This perfume can be described as bright and fresh grapefruit, slightly warmed by the sun. You can clearly feel a citrus note in it, with a light woody accent. Oriental nuances aren't as noticeable, but overall the scent is really interesting and worth trying. I'm sure it won't leave you indifferent! ))))

Oriental, yes, but you wouldn't call it gourmand. Tonka beans add a bit of caramel and almond, but it's not that noticeable. The sweetness overpowers the bitterness of citrus and the tartness of patchouli. Rather, it's something more masculine 😏

The scent is really sweet, with a light citrus tartness. At the same time, it creates an atmosphere of coziness and tranquility. The patchouli here is simply magnificent, soft, not at all evoking unpleasant associations. Longevity is pleasing, sillage is present, though not too noticeable. Nothing radically new, but overall very pleasant )

The citruses here are just in your face, and the pauliswood base is so soft it's almost sickening. Tonka beans add some sweetness, but it doesn't save it. Overall, there's no hint of coziness or comfort here, more like being stuck in a stuffy store 😒

This Turtle also captivated me. At first it seemed strange, you can feel citrus and something balsamic in it. But then such bright patchouli unfolds, it's just pure bliss! They're a little sweet, but that doesn't hinder it, on the contrary, it adds interest
