Description of the composition

The composition of Boy is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Mau Perfume is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Balsamic, Fruit and Leather. It also reaches into Floral, Ambery, Gourmet and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to East, Fruit and Leather.

In the first seconds you detect invigorating sunny top notes: Bergamot, Labdanum, Lemon and Orange.

In the central layer you meet Fruit note, Leather accord and Violet carrying a tempting fruity direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Background accords such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Leather add depth to the backdrop.

Taken together Boy sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.
