Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Coming Up Night evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Max Gordon is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Grapefruit and Mandarin. Exactly these 4 notes build a sensation of cool purity that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the central layer you sense Cardamom, Ivy, Moss, Sage, Violet and musk keeping a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Spicy, Green and Earthy / Mossy. The palette also extends to Aromatic, Floral, Musk and Wood.
