Description of the composition

The scent of Adès evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Midi Parfums is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy and Mineral add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch radiant lemon-bergamot first notes: Calamondin, Lemon, Marigold and Sage.

At the core of development you meet Black Cardamom, Cinnamon and Tolu balsam keeping a cinnamon-nutmeg direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Amber, Ebony wood, Patchouli and Rosewood, extending a earthy woody-resinous trail.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Floral, Aromatic and Spicy. The palette also extends to Balsamic and Wood.

Overall Adès sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.
