Description of the composition

The scent of Tar unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Miguel Matos is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Aromatic and Citrus with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Gourmet, Floral, Fruit and Musc enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Right at the start you catch cardamom-peppery opening notes: Aldehydes, Anise, Bergamot and Licorice.

When the opening settles you meet Cinnamon, Lavender, Lily of the Valley, Oregano, Rum and Smoke carrying a silky white floral direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fairy, Spicy, Citrus and Fruit. The palette also extends to Wood, Green, Whiteflower and Aromatic.
