Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Fleur Oriental evolves as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Miller Harris is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the opening appears as one connected movement with a voluminous floral mood: Ambergris, Clove, Heliotrope, Jasmine, Orange blossom, Rose and Vanilla. Here 7 notes act as one voice, forming romantic softness that feels seamless.

The heart and base are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Floral, Musc, Amber and Spicy with each one in a clear role.

A spicy and powdery scent, sure, but the heliotrope with vanilla and clove just jump to the forefront, as if they need all the attention. Longevity, yes, not bad, but overall the fragrance didn't impress me. I don't know, maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but it just didn't grab me
