Description of the composition

The composition of Tuberosa is built as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The style of Miller Harris is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In the first seconds you sense radiant jasmine opening note: Tuberose. Exactly this 1 note forms creamy romanticism that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Benzoin, Jasmine Sambac and Rose holding a resinous meditative direction. In what remains on skin the structure settles through Mandarin and ylang-ylang, extending a mineral-citrus trail.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Whiteflower, Balsamic, Floral and Citrus. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral.

In summary Tuberosa sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Tuberose didn't impress me at all. On me, it's somehow bitter. And there's also musk in the scent, which isn't pleasing 😕

Jasmine clearly dominates here, though there's also a bitterness. It's an autumnal perfume, with golden notes, sounding quite interesting and unusual. I prefer tuberose to be creamier, but this version turned out to be quite good too
