Mimmina Bouquet Melange: the scent of an Italian dream

Imagine a cozy garden in Tuscany, where the air is filled with the fragrance of blooming orange trees and sweet vanilla notes.

It was in such a place, in the homeland of the Mimmina brand, that Bouquet Melange was born—a feminine and sensual oriental fragrance launched in 2013.

This perfume is a true bouquet of emotions, created for those who appreciate beauty and elegance in every detail.

Bouquet Melange is an eau de parfum belonging to the oriental fragrance family. The scent is designed for women and has a moderate sillage.

This means it leaves a soft yet noticeable trail that will accompany you throughout the day without overwhelming those around you.

Bouquet Melange fragrance pyramid and development

The Bouquet Melange composition unfolds gradually, like a blooming bud.

The top notes are a sparkling bouquet of sweet jasmine, spicy ylang-ylang, and delicate orange blossom. They evoke a feeling of freshness and joy.

At the heart of the fragrance are noble iris, intoxicating rose, and warm sandalwood, creating a velvety, refined heart.

The base is a languid embrace of amber, clean white musk, and intoxicating vanilla, leaving a long-lasting, seductive aftertaste.

When to wear it and what to pair it with

Bouquet Melange is perfect for romantic evenings and special occasions when you want to emphasize your femininity. The brand’s official website is www.mimmina.net.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

I can't say this scent is close to me. It smells like something from the past - rough powder, rose, and ylang-ylang create a strange combination. You wouldn't call it pleasant, but there's something in it that pushes you away from reality. It's definitely not for everyone, rather for those looking for something special. If I had to describe it in two words, it would be DUSTY-DRY

It's strange that the fragrance pyramid lists such pleasant notes, but in reality, they smell completely different. I ordered a bottle without understanding what exactly I would get. In the end, I had to find it a new home. Yes, there's a dusty and even slightly bitter sensation. A powdery trail is clearly present. No rose is felt, but orange blossom? Possibly, but it's somewhat lifeless. The musk gets lost, and there's not enough sweetness. Iris seems to be the most prominent, but it's so melancholic. My husband even said it's more for men. All in all, it's definitely a scent for an acquired taste

The scent I perceived turned out to be quite strange. Soap, pink, with a slight bitterness, as if something was off. Tatyana described it, and I seem to agree, but there were no strong emotions. The opening didn't grab me; rather, it left a feeling of incompleteness. I can't figure out if I like it or not

I dreamed of this fragrance for a long time, but alas, only the initial floral notes brought joy. Then complete disappointment began: first it smelled simply like soap, then some kind of household cleaner. This scent reminds me of play-doh, honestly, it's disgusting. It seems floral fragrances aren't for me. And I didn't detect any iris, sandalwood, or vanilla. Something like that )
