Fragrance information:

Kirk Mirko Buffini Firenze, introduced to the world in 2014, is positioned as a unisex fragrance, falling within the spicy, fruit, and floral families. The fragrance belongs to the spicy, green, and wood groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of earthy / mossy can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. In eau de parfum — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. Apply 2-3 sprays whether on skin or fabric — it works equally well either way. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. Brand country — Italy. Kirk Mirko Buffini Firenze unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Kirk evolves as an expressive line of development, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Mirko Buffini Firenze is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Leather and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

Right at the start you sense cardamom-peppery first notes: Black Pepper, Blackcurrant, Caraway and Coriander.

In the central layer you sense Jasmine, Lavender and Lily of the Valley holding a creamy tuberose direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Earthy / Mossy, Green, Spicy and Wood. The palette also extends to Fruit, Whiteflower, Leather and Floral.

In summary Kirk holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent reminded me of some character from an old TV show that everyone's already tired of. The smell, of course, isn't bad, but it's too cloying and woody. The sweetness in it is so intense it's suffocating. I don't know who came up with this, but it's definitely not for me )
