Mi Confesión by Mark Buxton: new fragrance and interview
There are perfumers who remain in the shadow of brands. And there are those whose name itself become...
Soho Bloom by Mistic Perfume is a women's eau de parfum released in 2025.
The American brand created this fragrance for those who love expressive floral compositions with a noticeable presence and a beautiful, gradually deepening development.
The fragrance belongs to the floral family, combining the freshness of a citrus opening with the airy transparency of flowers and a warm woody-amber base.
Its mood can be described as elegant, feminine and confident: Soho Bloom does not try to go unnoticed, yet it retains softness thanks to its musk and sandalwood accords.
The composition was created by perfumer Reet Bharara.
In his interpretation, the floral bouquet feels dimensional rather than flat: the fragrance moves from a sparkling, slightly cool opening to a rich heart, then settles on the skin warm, smooth and sensual.
Soho Bloom reflects Mistic Perfume's aim to create fragrances that are easy to understand yet expressive.
There is no sense of dry classicism or excessive sweetness: the composition is built on a balance of fresh, white-floral and woody-musky nuances.
In the first minutes, the perfume opens with a bright combination of freesia and tangerine.
The citrus sparkle quickly softens into a floral heart, where jasmine, lily and rose create a recognizable feminine bouquet with a clean, slightly cool facet.
As the fragrance develops, the base becomes more noticeable: amber adds a warm glow, sandalwood makes the scent creamy and smooth, while musk creates a soft trail on the skin.
Its sillage is described as very strong, so the fragrance is especially well suited to those who enjoy a perfume that is noticeable to others and lingers in the air after they leave.
Thanks to its floral-citrus opening, Soho Bloom can complement a daytime look, business attire or a romantic date.
At the same time, its rich base allows it to work well in the evening too, especially in cool weather, when the amber-sandalwood notes reveal themselves more vividly.
For the office and smaller spaces, it is best to start with a moderate number of sprays, as the fragrance has very strong sillage.
Exact recommendations for applying it to skin and clothing are not provided, so its intensity should be adjusted gradually, taking the season, temperature and personal sensitivity to fragrance into account.
Those interested in Soho Bloom's floral style may want to explore Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Pour Femme, as well as Yves Saint Laurent Paris and Calvin Klein Eternity.
These fragrances share a feminine floral character, while Soho Bloom stands out for its particularly strong sillage and warm amber-woody drydown.
The fragrance is very long-lasting, staying on the skin for 12 hours or more, gradually revealing its notes
The scent will linger in the air even after its wearer has left.
The perfume has a rich aroma that will help you stand out from the crowd and create a memorable image
A rich and elegant fragrance that gently unfolds on the skin and lasts most of the day, leaving a delicate trail
Perfumes for the fall and winter seasons often contain notes of vanilla, spices, ambergris, wood, and other warm accords, creating a feeling of comfort and warmth during the cold months
The top notes open with freesia and tangerine, creating a bright, fresh and slightly sparkling accord.
At the heart of the composition, jasmine, lily and rose unfold into an expressive white-floral bouquet with soft rosy nuances.
Jasmine adds depth and sensuality, while lily enhances the feeling of purity and airiness. Amber, sandalwood and musk emerge in the base.
The dry-down is warm, smooth and long-lasting, with a pronounced woody-musky trail.
