Description of the composition

The composition of Old Book evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Moss Botanical Perfumes is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Animals, Spicy, Wood and Balsamic. It also reaches into Green, Floral, Aromatic and Gourmet. From a family perspective the composition sits in Aromatic and East.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a musky-amber mood: Beeswax, Clove, Juniper, Myrrh, Papyrus and Rose.

The middle and base stages are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.
