Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Al-Malik is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Musc d'Or is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

Right at the start you catch spicy sparkling opening notes: Black Pepper and Ginger. Exactly these 2 notes build warm spicy pulse that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you sense Basil and Sage carrying a pure aromatic direction. At drydown level the line is anchored through Amber, Labdanum, Myrrh, Oud and Patchouli, reinforcing a viscous balsamic trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy and Mineral enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Aromatic, Balsamic and Wood.

In summary Al-Malik sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.
