My Alchemy launched Sweet Illusion in 2023 — and it was a brilliant move. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the spicy, east, and floral families. Perfumer Dmitry Stoforandov left a distinct mark on this composition. A perfume extract — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Sweet Illusion is built as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of My Alchemy comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Ambergris, Citrus accord, Clary Sage, Clove, Jasmine, Lavender and Leather accord.

The inner phases are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood, Powdery, Amber and Leather enrich the profile without taking over.
