Description of the composition

The composition of Desiree evolves as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Napoleon is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de Cologne sets the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Ambery, Floral, Whiteflower and Wood.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a voluminous floral mood: Ambergris, Iris, Jasmine, Patchouli, Rose, Vetiver and ylang-ylang. In this case 7 notes sound as one coherent layer, forming an elegant floral wave that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.
