Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Eau du Soir (2013) is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Sisley is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Spicy, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Wood, Balsamic, Earthy / Mossy and Ambery.

From the first breath you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Grapefruit and Mandarin.

In the heart you notice Black Pepper, Clove, Iris, Jasmine, Juniper and Labdanum keeping a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Musc with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood, Powdery, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. For persistence Middle suggests confident staying power.

In summary Eau du Soir (2013) sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

2
Complexity and depth

This release is a limited edition of a classic, but with a new design. The fragrance is clearly chypre, with old-school notes. There's a lot of moss here and a slight hint of damp pine needles. It opens with cold spices, and not a hint of citrus or floral accents )
