The scent, overall, isn't bad for the office or walks, but nothing more than that. The sillage is refreshing, but not suffocating, that's true. I tested it in early October, and it lasted all day, but not in a 'wow' kind of way. In the evening, when I was walking home, it played nicely in the fresh air, but the sweetness everyone talks about isn't all that noticeable. At home, you can hear it, of course, but by morning it's already gone. It has longevity, but being unobtrusive isn't always a plus
