Description of the composition

The composition of DevilScent #2 is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Neil Morris is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

In a unified mixed pyramid the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous voluminous mood: Black Pepper, Cedar, Cumin, Elemi, Frankincense, Hot pepper and Jasmine Sambac. In this case 7 notes act as one voice, forming enveloping resinous depth that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The middle and base stages are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Spicy, Wood, Balsamic and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Citrus.

Overall DevilScent #2 holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.
