About Rumi

Neil Morris is an American niche brand founded in 2000 by a talented perfumer who brought Rumi to life.

Launched in 2009, this unisex fragrance belongs to the oriental family and is available in eau de parfum concentration. It was created by the brand's founder himself, Neil Morris.

Rumi is a sensual cocktail in which rose, a symbol of passion, tenderness, and love, takes center stage.

Its velvety petals intertwine with exotic ylang-ylang, spicy benzoin, warm amber, and earthy patchouli.

The fragrance has a very strong sillage, making it ideal for evening outings and romantic dates.

Who Is This Fragrance For?

Rumi is a versatile fragrance suitable for both women and men.

Its oriental, balsamic character unfolds slowly and envelopingly, leaving behind a warm, subtly sweet trail.

Thanks to its excellent longevity and intense sillage, it will become your faithful companion for a date or a formal dinner.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Of all the fragrances from this brand that I've tried, this was the only one that didn't work for me. Too intense, resinous, and with a clear ylang-ylang. I think it's more suitable for confident, high-status women, and it also reminds me of Arabian oil perfumes 😒
