Description of the composition

The composition of Lilith unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Neil Morris comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Fairy, Ambery, Wood and Animals. The framework further includes Green, Whiteflower, Earthy / Mossy and Floral.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a noble cedar mood: Aldehydes, Ambergris, Bamboo, Civet, Green Chord, Heather and Jasmine.

The inner phases are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Animalistic, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber and Cosmetic expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Lilith holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent is really strange. At first, there's some incredible heaviness, bright aldehydes break through sweet floral notes that seem oily. Then it suddenly turns fresh and green. And in the end, it completely transforms into something like a concentrated herbal potion that's hard to perceive adequately. I can't quite figure it out yet
