Description of the composition

The scent of Musky evolves as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of NSHQ is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Powdery with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Oriental enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a voluminous floral mood: Incense, Iris, Rose, Tonka bean, musk and ylang-ylang. In this format 6 notes work as one voice, creating the effect of a living bouquet that feels seamless.

The heart and base are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Balsamic, Floral, Spicy and Musk. The palette also extends to Whiteflower.

Overall Musky reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.
