Description of the composition

The composition of Fougere is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Dupetit is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Gourmet with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Floral, Musc and Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In the top tier you detect sparkling citrus opening notes: Bergamot, Lavender and Tonka bean.

In the middle phase you detect Rose, musk and ylang-ylang carrying a opulent floral direction.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Citrus, Green, Spicy and Floral. The framework further includes Musk, Whiteflower, Earthy / Mossy and Balsamic.

Taken together Fougere reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.
