Ombré Lamar Envy is a women's eau de parfum launched in 2022 by the British brand Ombré Lamar.
The composition combines floral, fruity and woody facets, creating an expressive fragrance with a distinctive personality and a striking presence.
Envy was created by perfumer Urs Castelletti.
His work is built on contrast: sparkling citrus and juicy fruits gradually give way to a lush white-floral heart, then soften into a warm vanilla, musky and woody base.
The fragrance opens fresh and energetic: bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin highlight a duo of blackcurrant and raspberry, while neroli and ylang-ylang add a sunny floral facet.
As a result, the opening feels simultaneously citrusy, fruity and slightly sweet.
At the heart of the composition, a luxurious bouquet of gardenia, jasmine, tuberose, rose, lily of the valley, orange blossom and iris unfolds.
Cinnamon lends spicy warmth to the white flowers, adds volume to the fragrance and keeps the bouquet from becoming too airy or carefree.
The finish gradually becomes soft and enveloping: benzoin, vanilla and tonka bean create a gourmand accent, white musk adds cleanliness, while patchouli and sandalwood bring depth and a refined woody texture.
On the skin, Envy travels from bright fruity-citrus freshness to a creamy, warm and sensual base.
Ombré Lamar Envy is described as having very strong sillage, making it especially well suited to those who enjoy noticeable, compliment-worthy compositions.
This is not an intimate fragrance for a barely perceptible cloud, but an expressive accent capable of leaving a memorable impression.
Its rich fruity-floral character unfolds beautifully in cool autumn, winter and the transitional seasons, when vanilla, benzoin, tonka and sandalwood sound especially cosy.
Envy is better suited to an evening, a festive occasion, a date or a dressed-up look than to a small enclosed space or a hot midday.
Specific recommendations for the number of sprays on skin and clothing have not been provided for this release.
Given its very strong sillage, it is best to start with a small number of sprays and assess the development after 15–20 minutes, especially when wearing the fragrance indoors.
Envy was created for women who enjoy lush white flowers, juicy fruity nuances and a warm, slightly sweet base.
It may appeal to fans of rich floral fragrances with noticeable depth, as well as those looking for a perfume with strong sillage and an expressive evening character.
In terms of mood, the composition combines radiant confidence with soft sensuality: the citrus-fruity opening feels refreshing, the floral heart is elegant, and the vanilla-woody finish adds warmth to the overall look.
That is precisely the appeal of Ombré Lamar Envy — it is not limited to a single facet and changes noticeably as it develops.
