Description of the composition

The composition of orson + bodil is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of orson + bodil comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

In a unified mixed pyramid the notes arrive together with a romantic floral mood: Aldehydes, Ambergris, Basil, Benzoin, Cinnamon, Civet and Coriander.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Aromatic and Citrus forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Gourmet, Floral, Fruit and Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fairy, Ambery, Aromatic and Balsamic. The framework further includes Spicy, Animals, Floral and Sweet.

Overall orson + bodil sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.
